EFFECTIVENESS EVALUATIONS

MyriaD Consultants are regularly contracted to undertake effectiveness evaluations.

Our Evaluation Strategy are designed in such a way as to ensure that information pertaining to each of the key organisational activities is assessed using several approaches and methods.

Each of the methodologies adopted during an evaluation however, is underpinned by participatory principles. The reasons for this are threefold:

bullet

Firstly, to provide maximum opportunity for stakeholders to actively contribute to the ongoing design of the program

bullet

Secondly to foster high commitment through collaboration

bullet

Thirdly to ensure that the products and processes are of maximum benefit to the organisation and its stakeholders.

Experience tells us that the best evaluations revolve around the needs of target audiences, the process of project implementation and project outcomes. Our evaluation work is founded therefore on the following core beliefs:

bullet

Evaluation represents an integral part of the delivery of our contractual requirements

bullet

Evaluation is a vital component of continuous improvement and change

bullet

Goals and objectives guide the evaluation approach, methods and activities

bullet

Because of the evolving nature of the SSP activities, our approach, methods, and activities need to be revisited at regular intervals to make sure they continue to align with our clients' information needs.
